Do scopes work on Paintball guns?

I got my a5 pretty decked out and I was just wondering if I should be interested in a scope but I just can't see them working on a paintball gun. Give me your thoughts. Thank you

Kudos to Paco and Scamp... Scopes and sights are just added furniture on a paintball marker.  They look nice but realistically they will not be as accurate if it was installed on an actual firearm.  The ballistics between bullets and paintballs are completely different.

Not for actual aiming, since i paintball curves and dives often it really wont help, but if your playing woodsball and you want to scope out some areas that you cant see clearly it could help.

The scope will see farther and be more accurate than any paintball can be.  Scopes are only for looks on paintball guns.  

If you want some function, a Red Dot Sight will give you a general estimation of where the paintball will go.
