  1. He's been fixed already.

  2. dogs have an internal "s*****m" and only half is visible, they will not pop out or hang from the rest of the body at any point in the dogs life

  3. He must of already been neutered.

  4. He has retained testicles..  if they havent dropped by now, they wont likely drop.

Yes, he still needs neutered.. he's at an increased risk for certain types of cancers..  while its possible he may be fertile, that's not guaranteed.. he could still possibly sire puppies, and he will pass this fault on to future generations.

  5. if you feel where his testicles should be there will be two balls on the inside or maybe even just one. if you can feel them then he is not neutered and there may be complications with the neutering so ask your vet about it.

  6. By 8 months old, the testicles should be descended.  If not, the s*****m will not be obvious.  Unfortunately, he does need to be neutered.  He'll still have all the male hormones, but his chances of getting anyone pregnant will be minimal...the testicles retained in the abdomen will keep sperm warmer than they should be and kill most of them off.  The big problem is that most of these dogs (called a crypt orchid...your dog is a bilateral crypt since both are up) develop testicular cancer if they are not neutered.  Plus, if he does mate successfully, the trait can be passed along to others.  You'll also have the marking, roaming, aggression, etc. behaviors associated with an intact male.  Sorry to tell you...the surgery costs a lot more.  Speak with your vet soon and go from there.

  7. He must be neutered already or he would've had his testicles drop months ago.

  8. If he has no s*****m, then he has already been neutered. Or his testicles have not yet come down, in which case he should be neutered immediately before those testicles cause him horrible problems.
