  1. Of course they do ,they are every bloody where.

  2. no manchester people speak manc short for mancunian.

scouse if for people from liverpool

you can hear it anywhere though and some people use the accent when not from there

  3. most mancs dont like scousers an most scousers dont like mancs.

i wouldnt wana live in manchester bu thas jus my opinion

  4. There are lots of people who work in Manchester but travel from places like St Helen's and Widnes, where some people do have slight Liverpool accents. I would not say that it is a common thing though.

There will also be some people from the Liverpool area who have moved to Manchester, but not so many.

  5. Lots and lots, Manchester is the regional economic centre, most live in the towns just outside Manchester, the suburbs, as the city of Manchester population itself tends to be very poverty stricken apart from a handful of rich areas, so its a tale of two cities really, Collyhurst, Platting etc really grim, Didsbury, Chorlton very expensive

Scousers can be heard on the construction sites, in Primark and at the University's often

  6. I do. I married a Mancunian man and am bringing up my children here - I'm very happy and have had no problems. Manchester people are very nice!

  7. unfortunately

  8. Some may do, but that is not where they are known to originate from, which is Liverpool.

Anyone who comes from Manchester would be disgusted at your suggestion that they sound scouse, their accent is Mancunian, or Manc, and there is quite a rivalry between the 2 Cities, which originates in football.
