I was threatened by someone i know but over a chat feature on the game World of warcraft. If i have screenshots of those threats, does it count as evidence. ESPECIALLY if they are totally legit and not photoshopped or anything.

This is in relation to my main question here:

  1. You just keep those photos for future evidence.

  2. No. Because you can't prove who it came from and they can be altered.

You can't do a lot about online threats.

  3. I would say that yes, it would. IF you can prove it IS him. If it gets really bad, talk to  your parents about it.

  4. Cyber-bullying is all to often nowadays. It's usually with school kids threatening one another online. Taking screenshots of these threats are the most effective way of proving your case. They are perfect evidence- without them, what else do you have?

I was cyber bullied at my school this year, and screenshots were perfect evidence.
