  1. Yes, some sharks live in cold water.  There are 3 regions the polar, temperate and tropical.

    The polar region is below 41 degrees F.  This temp. goes down to freezing at 32 degrees F.  The greenland sleeper shark swims under icecaps.  Also native to the polar region is the black dogfish shark and the pacific sleeper

    Native temperate sharks are the great white and Mako this range is 50-69.8 degrees F.

    The tropical region above 69.8 degrees F is home to the bull, nurse and tiger sharks.  The bull shark is cold blooded.

  3. You know, I'd think that they wouldn't like that but I was reading about the Titanic and that it was freezing over there- but they said nothing about sharks attacking. So i guess that it depends on the species and their preferences and climate.

  4. Sure, lots of them.  The great white prefers cold water.  Greenland sharks live in near-freezing water year-round.
