  1. Turkey and the EU have been in a customs union since 1995.

    However that union does not cover the sensitive areas of agriculture, services and government purchasing.

    Any movements will need to be accompanied by an ATR certificate and there are special rules for processed foodstuffs.

    But for general goods manufactured or in free circulation within the EU then there is no customs duty
