Do shy guys test out the waters with the girl they like?

Why? What does it mean? And i think it's going to take longer for them to test out the waters than a regular guy...right

They'll go as far as trying to make eye contact, but you probably wouldn't even know if they like you, because if they're truly shy then they would be too afraid to approach you, or even talk to you at all. They'll timid around you, and sometimes you might notice them blushing, but some of the shy guys blush in front of any person who they don't know. I must admit that shy guys are hard to read, and so are shy girls.

Shy guys try to test out the water with the object of their affection, but in subtle ways.  And most of these ways are usually lost in translation so that it either takes longer or they get cold feet again.

If you know someone who is shy and if you are interested in them, you may have to approach them.  This works.  I am painfully shy, and my (current) girlfriend (soon to be fiancee) walked up and asked me to ask her out.  Our first "date" was right then and right there.  And that has been three years ago.  She is not going to ask me to ask her to marry her...

Shy guys don't know how to test the waters.  They simply don't make the move because they are shy.

You might have to give hints before they have the courage to make the first move.  At times, you might have to make the first move yourself.
