If they do, how does rhyming work in sign languages?

  1. They actually do.  Rather than using repeated sounds of words, they use repetitive handshapes, movements and modulations.  You would probably need to watch a sign language poet in action before you would understand.  I've seen one perform a whole story using a single handshape.
