Do silverfish bite?

We have apparently got silverfish in the offices at work, just wondered if there was any danger of getting bitten etc

no they do not, however silver fish normally only live in damp area so you may have a damp problem in your office which could cause you breathing problems

they eat tiny scraps of food and stuff, occasionally they eat other dead silverfish, but, no, they don't bite

yuk they're horrid little buggers!

No they don't bite!

no and when you get too close to them or touch them the shock seems to kill them so i wouldnt worry about coming into contact with them
