Do sky divers consider temperature and climate before jumping?

Are there certain climates/areas where it's dangerous to sky dive? For example, will the chute open in freezing weather?

In places with arctic-like climate the chute might freeze up depending on from how high up they jump from and if they kept their chute warm or not before jumping. But usually no.
