Do slugs go in fields?

Question

I am planning to camp in a field in the summer holidays with my friends, however i have a really big phobia of slugs. I didn't think that there would be any, as the grass is quite spikey, But i'm not sure?? please help =S x x

Well, slugs a wild animals, they go were they will. But usually, they only go, where they can find luscious food, like tender sprouts, lettuce etc. I don't think, you have to worry overly much. Bye the bye, they can't cross salt. That might help you to know.
