Do smart phones with wifi get free internet in a wifi hotspot ?

i wanted to know also if a phone without a plan on it would still get a wifi connect and would i be able to get online

  1. If the phone doesn't require a SIM card to work then you'll be fine. It's free because you're not using phone network.
