Social networks focus on the number of friends the individual has and highlight the differences between individuals in such a factual form that it is no longer possible to "blend in" to society, you either "fit in" or you don't. There is no provision for partial anonymity, especially if they are not the one controlling the content and therefore a person can be more easily picked out and victimised both online and in person. Is there an underlying antisocial aspect to so called "social networks"? If so; how should it be addressed?
