  1. Some do.  It depends on where they are.  I can watch them here on my time off.  I know others who will get to see recordings of it like a day or so after it actually happens.

  2. Yes.  Due to the modern marvels of technology sailors and solders have access to all the convenience items you have at home.  Things like ipods, computers with high speed internet, TV and even some cable channels!  The best thing I can advise you to do is join the military and get over there to see for yourself!

  3. I'm sure that they do. I got satellite feeds when I was in the military overseas. We got to watch all sorts of stuff. It may be a delayed broadcast though.

We watched the Gulf War on CNN when I was in Saudi Arabia...(well, we had cable/satalite where I was anyway. In Dec 1991)

  4. they have greater concerns currently than whether or not M Phelps beats Mark Spitz' record for gold medals....

Like whether or not the former insurgents have been paid their BRIBE, so as to keep them from killing GI's...aka the Awakening

or if the blast walls they erected to demarcate ethnically cleansed neighborhoods are high enough to keep IED's out

  5. Yes AFN (armed Forces Network) will be showing the Olympics to deployed soldiers. Of course it will be time delayed like we get it here in the States.
