I don't understand why SOME christians would say a sin is a sin...

all sins are treated the same.

Then they go on to say "g*y people are psychologically damaged"

Does that mean that people who have s*x before marriage are all "psychologically damaged"?

If all sins were treated the same... then why is homosexuality in particular is giving the EXTRA blow?

well, most christians find it discusting and wont tolerate it cuz of their own beliefs rather than a christian belief.  i mean, i dont agree with it, but i dont treat them any different than anyone else.  and i dont think all g*y people are going to h**l if they have Christ in their heart and are trying to serve Him.  i dont know it is a very hard subject to understand.  i do believe it is wrong whether you have tendicies or not.  if you do, and believe it's wrong, then just dont act on it.  try at least.  thats all i got.

The ones that give g*y people a hard time are simply lunatic. They think they are God's favorite children, they think God employed them to clean the world from "sinners" as they call.

Truth is, EVERYONE is a sinner. Everyone on here has a computer. All holy books say 'help people in need' and that money and being rich is a sin. There are people dying from hunger in the world, people with no clothes, no shoes... when things are so, instead of helping them, saving the creatures, children God created, you sit in front of your computer, preach people and point out their sins when you're a sinner yourself. That's insanity.

I think because it's misunderstood and people tend do shy away from things that they don't understand. Then of course you have your judgmental individuals who believe everything (or a lot of things) from their upbringing, and it's their way or the wrong way.

I'm sorry that some do this! It is a sin like so many other acts of sexual behaviour outside of Marriage. I think some are trying to warn people but some are just wrong in their treatment of others.

Let them pray for souls that can't see the light and let God do the Judging.

My best man was g*y and he is my best friend I can warn him about it but I am Called to love him no matter his choice. We should all follow Love and tolerance, more so if we are Christian.

Homosexuality is wrong, abnormal and dirty. I remember reading in my Bible that God created Adam and Eve, and not Adam and Steve!!

They are so oblivious to the fact that they are bigots and intollerant.When confronted with this, they always have some excuse from scripture such as:

But it is actually quite a paradox, seen as homosexuality occurs in nature on quite a regular basis! Many other species also have s*x with the same gender. Are they "sinful" too..?

Whenever I encounter Christians who condemn homosexuality, I usually call them out on it. I ask them why they feel that way. I cite the bible, and I mention both its many contradictions and all the other things that are written in Leviticus of which they for some reason feel completely free to ignore! Also I mention the history of Sodoma, and the fact that its destruction can be interpreted in many ways. (Could have been due to immorality, rape, incest, prostitution, adultery..) I almost always win discussions such as those. You should try it too! ,)

I disagree that Homosexuality is given the extra blow.

Same sexers could live their life in discretion like any other sinner,(liar,  gambler, adulterer or a drug addict) as you say, but they choose not too.

They want everyone to just accept them and their sin and diversify with it and teach that it's okay.

However, all Bible believers can read daily that it's sinful. How can we look away?

If I worked with someone who is a liar or whoremonger, I can avoid them. Society tells me I need to accept him and teach others their decision to lie is another way of life and he or she was born that way. This is a step I'm not willing to take.
