Do some high schools go on trips (international and US) for the holidays?

I'm just curious about this because usually holidays are spent with families... Do high schools sometimes organize field trips around holidays.. (I.E. Winter break; christmas, Hanukkah)

Well I am a junior now and I am in the Army JROTC (Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps) and we go on trips during winter break, spring break, and during the summer the weekend before the 4th of July. Matter of fact some of our trips like spring break are the weekend before we go back to school. The 4th of July trips are the same. The Winter Break Trips are anytime during the 4 weeks we have out of school

Some do have organized trips during holidays. My sister when on a school trip from Virginia  to Russia and Denmark over the Christmas holidays when she was in high school.

i don't think they would do it international trips ( that would be really expensive) , but if u want a clear answer ask ur princiable or dean . i hope it helps :)
