Do some jeans make you look thicker then you really are?

I was trying on these jeans and they were all size 3 -- they all fit me really tight and made me look thicker like thicker legs and thighs. The jeans that I have at home are size 5 but fit me kinda baggy and they do not make me look thick at all. All of the ones that I tried on were really light jeans too. Has this happen to you? Or am I just getting fatter?

  1. The reason you look thicker is because the size 3 jeans you tried on were way too tight, and they were sucking to every ounce of fat you have on your butt and thighs. So they probably looked like tights, they were so snug against you! You aren't getting fatter, it's just the jeans. When they are super tight, they hug your body and show off your body.

But that isn't a good look.

And the light jeans always make people look bigger, if you wear darker ones, you look slimmer.

  2. try a size 4. thats in the middle of your original sizes, maybe you'll get a perfect fit

  3. I doubt you have gained weight. I wear 3 different sizes of jeans depending on the type of jean (skinny, relaxed, bootcut etc.) and brand. I recently threw away a pair of jeans, which fit me like a glove and were quite comfortable, when I looked in the mirror and saw that they made my thighs look 3x their size from behind. You have to be careful with jeans and pick the kind that fit your body type.

  4. This is an easy way to find jeans that won't make your legs look thicker.

Take the leg and fold it up towards the knee. If the leg is thinner than the knee, it'll automatically make your thighs look bigger. For example when folding skinny jeans the leg is obviously going to be smaller than the knee-thigh area of the jeans. If you fold the leg up and it is about the same as the knee it'll flatter you in the thigh. So, go for straight leg jeans, not skinny or bootcut.

  5. umm try dark wash jeans and don't do tapered

  6. no, it's true, i have some jeans that make me look good and really flatter me and some that make me look gross! all jeans are cut differently so some cuts will make you look better than others
