  1. I always envied people who could stretch longer than an octave. Perhaps that's why I went for classical singing instead. LOL! That was comedy!


  2. These guys are great!  And Rachmaninoff wrote things to exploit his large reach, we all know.  Watch ALL of their videos - when they first came out, I sent them to all my friends.

    but you can only work on what you have..

    One of my favorite pianist, Alicia de Larrocha..

    She has very small hands..but she certainly can play every notes in Iberia..




  5. LOL! My music teacher in conservatory let us watch this. We laughed so bad, and by the end of it none of us were still sitting straight up on our seats.

    To answer your question, yes I do. Those irritating 10ths.

  6. That was AWESOME!!! I've ALWAYS had problems with Rachmaninoff and Tchaikovsky. My hands are soooo tiny. My student who is 8...his hands are almost as big as mine!
