  1. There is no scientific evidence of a soul. It's a concept totally based in faith. Humans are complicated. There's no evidence supporting a soul, but no evidence refuting it either.

  2. Nope. None at all.

  3. Good question good question. The area is under study and it's tricky. Evidence of paranormal activity suggests that some form of spirit may continue on after the death of the body. So if you wish, we can call that the "soul". Unexplained paranormal phenomena in the form of latent energy and temperature changes have been measured and documented. Direct contact with spirits is more iffy and subject to great controversey. Studies have shown that so-called "mediums" have failed to contact "spirits" under scientifically controlled conditions. However the argument is put forth that scientifically controlled conditions do not constitute actual contact conditions, where the spirit may reside and interact. Most have been exposed as hoaxes and liars, while others were only able to contact or "sense" the scientific spirit at a percentage rate of half what they claim. Hence the argument that the experiment is not valid. I'll give you the meat and potatoes, but you'll have to do some surfing for your research. I've done 75% of it for you below. Enjoy yourself. I've been to Point Lookout State Park in Maryland and briefly experienced some of the eeriness there. Use the links and you will find what you seek, kangaroo!

  4. i dont't think so but i believe that everyone has a seperate soul

  5. Yes. There are people going around searching for ghosts.

  6. Not really.

Firstly, you'd have to define what "soul" meant in order to be able to look for it.

Most religions agree that the soul is supernatual and non-physical: in other words, it is not something made of "normal" matter or energy, and it does not obey the normal laws of physics. And such "normal" stuff is what science concerns itself with.

Science can only investigate that which is *natural* - not anything *supernatural*. as soon as anything supernatural enters the equation, you've stopped doing science.

Therefore, science cannot locate or examine the soul.

Of course, it therefore cannot *disprove* its existance either...
