  1. some speakers need an amp but they are rated for 100 rms or higher... if ur speakers are 50 rms then they should be fine with just the normaly headunit/deck leave more info and ill tell ya wat u need to do

  2. well, they need to be powered by some sort of amp...otherwise, they'll be getting no power and won't play.  If they're the stock speakers, the cd player's built-in amp should be fine.  If you're getting aftermarket speakers, as long as they have a lower power rating they should also be fine.  Once you start getting into speakers that have a higher power rating, your better option is to power them from a separate amp.  Otherwise, they'll be quieter, causing you to turn your volume up louder.  This can cause the signal to clip if its turned up too loud, which can damage the speakers over time.

  3. most full range speakers will be fine, but they will always sound their best when amped.

  4. no unless it has different high and low pass setting for each output channel but thats pretty rare. so 90% no that much bass would kill your speakers.
