Do speakers use more electricity the louder they are?

do speakers use more electricity if u put them louder? how bout if i have my computer speakers on and the computer off, do they still use electricity if they are making a slight humming noise?

No it does not use more electricity to turn them up. if the speakers are on and the computer is off the speakers will still use electricity.
