  1. Not really but I try and get it right first time.

  2. no not really

  3. If I see someone else's spelling mistake it doesn't bother me but if I make one I hate it if I can't correct it.

  4. no but i hate it wenpeople   point it out to u

  5. Not really. It depends on what the spelling mistake is on, if it's on here or in a personal letter then it doesn't but if its something important then i would like to know things are spelt properly. i make the effort if its important

  6. Mostly, yes, they do, but only from professional writers. I understand that typos happen and I do not expect the casual writer to know the difference between 'just deserts' and 'just desserts'.

But I do appreciate when people try to use correct spelling and punctuation.

  7. If it's a letter or two, but one could still decipher the word, no - not at all. What bothers me is when someone is not able to put up a good argument and can only use spelling as comeback weapon. That is weak!!

  8. Yes, especially if it's on a professional sign or notice! Why doesn't somebody just proof read it?

  9. no i do it it all the time

    awnser my qostion http://ca.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind...

  10. not all spelling errors bother me..but...some do...

  11. No not really, we all make mistakes.

What does bother me is when people put apostrophes in the wrong place - or say something like "I will learn you to drive"  you can't learn someone - you can only teach them - they learn by themself - my Higher Grade English teacher was a stickler for that one.

I think I need to get over it though, because everyone's good at something but nobody's good at everything!

  12. yes they do.

Too many of them in a sentence makes it really hard to read.

    :o)

  13. Not really.

  14. Oh yes they do, I always correct any that I make and seeing  other peoples mistakes makes me wonder are they just too lazy to correct them, or do they do it on purpose to make a statement of some kind.

  15. God yeah.

  16. If it is a genuine mistake then no. If it is just laziness, then it drives me insane

  17. Not at all - but this is probably one of my fav spelling mistakes Ive seen on here -> http://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind...

    lol

  18. only when people cant be bothered to use a spell checker

  19. It used to never bother me, but it has more frequently ever since high school.  I suppose it's because I do a lot of script writing and story writing.  I've become trained to notice spelling errors so that they pretty much jump out at me and taunt me.  I've learned to just deal with it.  I know a lot of people misspell on purpose, and others just don't know the correct spelling.

  20. YES, but grammar mistakes bug me even more !

  21. not if its a mistake or somthing to use quickly like "u"

  22. Not a's much a's punct;uation mis'tkes made by people who's school was app:arntly ON VENUS'S'S'S'S MOONS

  23. not really when I'm chatting...but in school yes..especially when the teachers sometimes they spell incorrect...yeah it happens to me..and I have to correct them :D

  24. it depends!  i don't like making spelling mistakes if I'm writing to someone i don't really know that well (because I'm worried they'll think I'm stupid!!) but it doesn't bother me when I'm writing to friends and family. I'm always making mistakes! my hand sometimes write something totally different than what my brain is thinking!!!!!! in fact this it's telling me iv made 6 spelling mistakes! bet its my punctuation!

  25. no , they don't bother me because i use spell checker but at school all my teachers get really mad at me and all ways get points marked off. i don't really care tho

  26. absolutely...shows lack of education.
