I had this all written out, then I accidentally removed it, so here is the short version:
-Local range is closed
-My friends and I want to go shooting for target practice. Not hunting, just plinking for fun.
-The DNR says that the "zone" we live in is for shotgun hunting only.
-I just bought a new rifle, wanna shoot it, but can't.
-Is shooting it, without intent to kill/injure an animal, while on state gaming land, considered illegal?
-I've read pretty much all of the information the DNR has concerning rifles, and can not come to a conclusion.
-If it is illegal to shoot a rifle on state property within the zone, what about private property?
