I know the state is in charge I just wonder if there are interstate traffic laws. I got a ticket for hitting the rumble strip on the interstate (That pavement thats makes a fapping noise and vibrates your teeth) and it says "Drive off road on right" but I can't find this statue (Arkansas) anywhere

  1. yes because the police or highway patrol are state officials, but the can give you a ticket if they think your driving unsafe

  2. Yes, the state is responsible for enforcing traffic laws on interstates.  You're probably just not looking in the right spot.  The actual law probably doesn't say, "Drive off road on right".

  3. Never heard of getting a ticket for driving on the shoulder warning strips but the Arkansas like all states has it own little peculiarities. Yes interstate Hwy law are enforced by the state it crosses. Only named or so called because Duhhhh it crosses other states .....
