ex: Chris Paul. Why does he avg so many asts? I don't think he actually passes the ball 13 times not when he's scoring 25 + every game.

  1. Not really ... You got to have teammate that can catch the ball ( unlike Kwame Brown ) and teammate that can finish the play ( unlike Lamar Odom .. he always misses lay-ups when he has chance to score 3 point ) ...

Especially teams that more the ball good ... assists doesn't really matter

  2. More importantly, do they even address what really matters; personality.

  3. he passes more than 13 times.. but the player who gets the ball has to score when he passes it... that happens 13 times..

Assist= Pass Leading to a basket...13 TIMES!!! thats 26 points he basically set up

  4. Just check the stats of Bruce Bowen and asks anybody who knew NBA well, "If they knew Bruce Bowen?"

  5. 1. Stats don't matter much. Watching the player and understanding how they play does. The true example is LeBron's assist stat. Last game, he was passing though.

    2. CP3 is the second best player in the NBA. He is better than LeBron in my -opinion-. He works for his assists unlike LeBron.

    3. He doesn't score that much points. I kinda see him doing that thing Kobe does, which is picking his spots on the floor. which is something I like seeing players have.

Stats don't always mean something. Kidd averaged 100 FG% in most of the olympic games, doesn't mean he is the best scorer in the NBA. LeBron averages 8 assists, doesn't mean he is a play maker. Jordan averaged 50 3pt% one season, but we all knew that he sucked at 3 pointers.

  6. h**l,if Paul doesn't spread the ball a lot.He must be a freakin' genius to pass 11 times and get all 11 assists. He just has a good field goal percentage.
