Do stories of bad cops seem to be increasing?

All around the world the police seem to feel that a police state is in effect. There is a trend toward cops just "doing whatever they wish".

What if this continues and gets worse?

I suspect in fact that the very opposite is true.

With all sorts of video devises out there especially the cell phone ones,what we are seeing is merely an explosion of EVIDENCE on tape of police brutality which for the most part we never even had available previously .

Police are fully aware of just how their every actions in public could be on the news that I think it deters many police personel from perpetrating brutal acts BUT not all of course as we are seeing.

With increased access to news with the internet, plus more and more surveilance cameras, and cameras in cars, people with cell phone cameras...more people are just getting caught...but it's always ALWAYS been there. Cops are people. Not all people are good people.
