  1. my sister took GHD's and they didn't work very well at all with adaptor..

my cheapy ones worked fine! lol

    depends.

if not we met a girl there who bought some travel ones and they worked fine.

Most holiday reps sell them for £20 at hotels if needed.

  2. my old ghd's used to work but they did not get as hot, my new ones wont work at all. i bought a cheap set of usa ones and they are fine. Have fun x

  3. Yes, several times a day because of the humidity.  From Europe /UK you need a currency converter and adaptor from North American it is the same plug and voltage.

  4. Yeah! they work if they are good ones.

    Happy Feet

  5. You would have to get an adapter for the straighteners to work .

You can get them from Curry's Woolworth's infact most electric stores.

  6. If you have a plug converter they will.  You can pick them up at the airport (boots/WH Smith etc) and they have converters for most places in the world. You only need to buy it once and you will have them for future holidays.  Have a great time x

  7. My GHDs worked fine and at the same strength as they do here.

My hairdryer, however, is strong here but was more like a warm breeze there! Would have taken 24 hours to dry!!! I used the one in the room.
