  1. The only thing that causes weight gain is the intake of more calories than you burn on a daily basis.  Sugar free may cause a craving for sweets because your tongue sends a message to your stomach to generate the chemicals to digest sugar when there is none to digest.


  2. What is the difference in sugar/calorie free carbonated beverages & diet soda?  Maybe I'm reading things wrong.  Everything is better in moderation.  To me that is the answer to a healthy diet.  Sugar/calorie free carbonated beverages shouldn't cause weight gain unless there are carbohydrates or fats or some kind of psychology behind it.
