Do sunflowers die in the Winter,or,...?

  1. Sunflowers are annuals, not perennials. If a sunflower plant comes up the next year where sunflowers grew before, it was because seed from the blossom fell to the ground and in the spring took root.


  2. Sunflowers are annuals, you replant them every year.

  3. Sunflowers are annuals which means that they only live one year.  They may reseed though, and new ones come up in the spring.  Also, you can save seeds, if you can get them when they are ripe but before the animals eat them.  Then you can plant them again in the spring.
