Question:

Do suppose aliens could be the size of insects, maybe the size of a bee?

Perhaps the bee that was buzzing around my head earlier today was an alien. Maybe it was making electronic measurements, checking to see if that big k**b was empty, or testing the thickness of the skull with some kind of radiation device. One never knows.

  1. Illegal aliens are like cockroaches; does that count?

  2. lol suppose but I dont think so. think your thinking to much.. find a hobbie

  3. Bees-Aliens ?  Bee real careful Paddy, if they sting you, you may start producing honey ! !

  4. Maybe insects really are aliens.  My daughter used to say her body was a universe, and her cells were galaxies.  she was about 12 when her over active imagination came up with this one.

  5. I think anything is possible. It would make sense to me that aliens would send something, to check us out, that would seem very normal to us. I have wondered about insects myself.

  6. you take care of those bees paddy, they're in decline whether they're aliens or not,

    bees are our friends

  7. I don't think so.

  8. This reminds me of a science fiction story I read once. Most of the story told about a world inhabited by creatures who were super-intelligent, had all sorts of advanced scientific methods of doing things, etc. They had an idyllic life-style , and you read of their very civilised culture. Then one day, a human being saw their world hovering in front of him, and he squashed it with a fly-swatter.

I've always remembered that story - we really don't know where we fit in this big old universe, do we?

  9. I guess the bees in my garden are aliens too. That fly in the window I smacked with the swatter  was not an alien, when I went after him he did not call for back-up and no other fly came looking for him. I guess I am safe for now.     Poppy

  10. Where you getten your "stuff" Padd? Sounds like it's quite good! :)

  11. I think alien life by it's very definition has to be completely abstract and undetectable to us. On Earth an organism has to satisfy the following criteria to be qualified as life: movement, reproduction, sensitivity, nutrition, excretion, respiration and growth. These are the traits that are common to all carbon based life forms whose physical attributes exist in the same sensual dimensions as we do.

Now if a plutonium based life form existed we wouldn't be able to detect it as life as we know it and that is the most basic differentiation we can imagine in a life form. The complex interaction of quarks allow for an almost infinite interpretation of the universe. Humans are capable of 21 different sensual perceptions which is a drop in the ocean of all atomic variances. Alien forms would most likely never detect us nor we them.

  12. Who knows?  It would be very chauvinistic of humans to think all lifeforms look like us.
