  1. I'm also not sure what you mean by the normal green, all of the shops I go to use black as outlines or to fill in unless the customer requests a colour.  They can do all the colours you can think of, they can even custom blend colours, so pink is not a problem.

  2. The normal green?  I'm not sure what that means.  Tattoos aren't normally done in green unless requested by the person getting tattooed.

Yes, there is pink ink, but the kind of pink depends on whatever color inks your artist has.  They can also mix inks to come up with custom colors for you.

Whether or not they look "real" depends on whether or not your artist specializes in realistic art.

Generally I think tattoos look better in color than black and grey.

  3. COLOR!!

  4. definitely if its colourful or just black

  5. i have a black and gray tattoo that i love, and a color tattoo that i love that is pink and coral orange.

  6. normal green? usually tattoos look black or colors

  7. neither.

  8. Tattoos look much better when done in color. They can give you any color pink you want, and the new inks they have out now are amazing. I only get color tattoos because I get soooo many compliments on them. Just make sure it's what you want and where you want it, because it lasts forever. FOREVER.

  9. I would say color. You can get so much detail with color.

  10. Depends on what you're getting. The tattoo artist will usually recommend what colors will look best. You can get pink ink, but it's not cute on everybody. When you figure out what you want, you can get an idea of the colors. And when you explain your vision to the artist, they will make any necessary suggestions.

  11. You don't want a "jail house" tattoo.  The green is not prime, you know?

They should be dark black if you want the pigment to stay for a long time.

Of course, the pigments DO fade over time.  There is no getting over that.

I have pieces that are around 8 years if you'd like to check them out, the color portions are  newer.

  12. they look amazing in color!! and yes they do pink! and almost every other color you can think of!

some tattoos like portraits look best in black and white/gray though!

when you say "do they look real" do you mean the image? like if you had a butterfly tattoo does the butterfly look real? well yes it can, but you have to have an amazing tattooist!

  13. Hey,

It really depends on the design.  A pinup model for Lucky13 named Masuimi Max has a reddish pink tattoo sleeve of flowers and a dragon.  It looks good on her.  It will take a bit of contemplating on your part and creativity of the artist to achieve the best looking B&W tattoo and/or color tattoo.  The normal green you're talking about is NOT green, it is black ink that has aged with the person making it appear green.  The actual ink is JET BLACK.  Anyways, choose a design and imagine how it would look in both color and black on your skin.  Your skin tone as well constitutes whether or not you should get color or not.  A good example would be that the majority of very dark skinned individuals who DO get tatt'ed do not get color tattoos because they won't show up, instead they just get straight up black and white.  Hope this helps!

  14. I would say color or black and grey. The green makes it look old and fugly.
