Someone told me not to get a colored tattoo on the foot because it will turn black easy from wearing socks and shoes. Is this true? Is it okay to get a colored tattoo on your foot?

  1. Lol, there is no way your color would turn black.

I have a very vibrantly colored tattoo on my foot that is nearly 2 years old, looks the same it did when I first got it. I constantly am wearing flip flops which exposes it to the sun (but I also moisturize it and put sunscreen on it a lot) but at the same time, I work out pretty often and wear socks and sneakers when doing so. It's all in how you take care of your tattoo.

  2. No. My tattoo didn't. It's a tattoo life /http://www.realworldtattoos.com/

  3. i have one, alot of the color bled out, i'm not sure if it was the tattooist or just the location, but it DIDNT turn black lol

  4. I HAVE A TATTOO ON BOTH FEET AND MY COLORING IS FINE.ONE WAS DONE A YEAR AGO AND THE OTHER THREE YEARS AGO.IT IS A PAINFUL PLACE TO GET IT THO.MY LEFT FOOT SWELLED A BIT,BUT IT WAS WORTH IT,JUST TAKE CARE OF YR TAT AS DIRECTED AND U SHOULD BE FINE

  5. I have heard that beofre. I also know that you will have alot of swelling on the foot and that will cause the color to peel.

  6. I have had a colored tattoo on my foot for 6 years and It still looks as good as the day I got it.
