Do teachers like suck-ups?

I think they can tell when their students are genuine or not. If they are really concern with the subject or whether they want favoritism.

Teachers like students who apply themselves, but not students who try to make themselves look better by putting other students down. Students who "suck up" by flattering their teachers probably just make teachers nervous nowadays, because of all the accusations of teacher's abusing their students.

Teachers like students that show an interest in learning.  If you can do that convincingly without really being interested then that would make you a suck-up and you would have to hope they're too dense to see the real you!

It seems like teachers like suck ups  because those are the students who are like real nice to them and help them with stuff lol.
