  1. NO!

  2. It is sooooo much trouble to sort out bullying and bullying issues in school that it is very unlikely anyone with any sense would contribute to bullying in any school.  We don`t like to make extra work for ourselves, we have too much to do already.  The paperwork associated with bullying and taking statements and solving the issues is horrendous. Therefore we are unlikely to ever contribute to it or be the cause of it. We do, however, always follow bullying up, because legally we have to.

Alternatively, there are loads of parents who Do contribute to bullying by arguing with other parents and bringing the children into it, by telling their children to hit others or `stick up` for themselves etc.

  3. I think that they do -- unintentionally, of course. By their response to kids that are getting bullied that either stop it or contribute to it. I had a student in my room that nobody liked, but I would not allow anyone to pick on him. I could have very easily been a teacher that allowed this to go on and thus contribute to the bullying.

  4. Bullys should be suspended more often, right away and get the parents attention. Administration doesn't send kids home like they should. Teachers also don't have a way to get bullys to leave other kids alone, bullys should automatically be removed from normal population, it would straighten them up very quickly in primary school.

  5. no but they dont notice anything! Its so annoying!

    I was bullied.....sort of...

  6. yep

  7. absolutely yes, you know when a teacher don't like you and kids pick up on it to.

  8. Nah they prevent it

  9. In my experiance a lot are not very good at preventing it, they often make the situation worse!

  10. Heck no. They shouldn't even get involved in the first place.

  11. Yes they do

Most of the time they are rubbish at preventing it making things worse.

The teachers in genral appointed to dealing with bullying never had the experince of being bullied

With girls all the fighting is done in secret. The teachers say ignore it....sticks and stone may break my bones but words will never hurt me...>WORDS hurt more then anything...And yet most of the time they themselves are manipulated by the bullies adding to the situation.

In my experince...Deal with it yourself...Don't rely on a teacher...They make it worse.

  12. yes

people bullied me at primary because a mean teacher made fun of how much expression i show, and one of the kids picked up on it.

  13. we had this teacher miss haller and she would grab us by the shoulders and shake the h**l out of us but she had her favourites and they were bullyed

  14. i think some might, but not purposely, singling children out, that might need more help, or are either doing really well, struggling, and bullies will pick up on that, children are more clever then they are often given credit for, and will pick things up extremely well, hence maybe the bullying....i was bullied, and it was a few of the most awful years of my life, and many of the teachers when i was growing up ignored it...
