  1. Not necessarily. Maybe they feel they are shy.

  2. I base everything on testing. It doesn't matter to me if you are quiet or outgoing. I had some very quiet students who were very well behaved who couldn't do the work and got the grade they deserved. I also had loud obnoxious students who were smart and got 100% on everything and they got the grade they deserved. I don't base grades on how the students act unless it's their conduct grade.

  3. I ready don't think so, because I am shy and really don't talk much in class and trust me they know I not  really smart!

  4. usually yes, unless the class requires vocal participation.

  5. yeah, it would depend on the kind of work, but teachers think about it differently. like, my LA  teacher does sorta think that about me, but my social studies teacher definetely doesn't!

  6. no some quite students are smart and some are not.some students just have that nature some also lack confidence and have low self-esteem.Some are quite because they lack the ability to express themselves verbally.

  7. Teachers get the homework and test scores from the students in their classes, so they are not fooled by a student's demeanor.  Some quiet students are very smart, while others are quiet because they don't understand a word of what is going on!

  8. It would depend what kind of work they are producing.

  9. it depends on the teacher really...my mom is a teacher, so sometimes a quiet and reserved kid is shy, really smart, or might be mentally retarted. it also depends on how well they work in class....that can show alot.
