Do teenage growth spurts depends of genetics?

for example if my dad had his teenage growth spurt at age 16 does that mean im also gonna have it at 16?? or at least, if it's likely.......

  1. most things has to do with genetics but remember its not only your dad its you mother, grandfather, grandmother ect


  2. it does usually work that way, but sometimes not. my gpa had his at 17 but my daddy grew the most at 22. but my mom had her big one at 15 and so did my sister.

  3. You're forgetting your mother's genetics. There is no st calendar date for any of these things involving genetics. You might follow suit, you might be  delayed.

  4. it is possible his will be around the same age.

    but it might not be until he's like 17 or 18.

  5. It doesnt work like that all the time but i truely think it is from genetics!
