Do teens have to do activities on princess cruise lines?

Question

I'm 14 and really don't like being around people I don't know. If I go on a Princess Cruise will I have to do the activities for teens or can I stay with my family?

You can stay with your family as much as you want. They are no rules that tell you where to go or anything. All the entertainment is just fine for teens, as well as all the other stuff on the ship. You will love Princess. I have been on 8 of their cruises.

NO!  Haha.  You can do whatever you want.  That's how I used to be.  I'm 15 now and I'm going on a Princess cruise and I can't wait to meet people.  SO EXCITED!  Which one you goin on?  Crown Princess March 8th maybe??!  That's the one I'm going on.  Just know that everyone is nice :)  I'm not going to say that it will be more fun if you meet people though, because if you don't like to do that then it won't be more fun.  Do whatever you want, just know that the people don't bite :)

Princess offers teen activities, including a "dry" bar for ppl under 21. It is not by any means required to participate in any of the activities.

Yea they have camp things during the day for the kids.

Crown Princess does.There are spots when teens can hang.  It's only for teens only.  Usually the lounge may close up at a certain time, but still all the teens hang out together afterwards on the deck, the cafe, or by the pool.
