I just don't get it. I see questions on here about Am I preggo? Etc. They go and have s*x, protected or not, there is still a chance and they know it, but then freak out thinkin they are pregnant and scared and S**t. Why do it and take that chance when you know you are still young and all? I just don't get it.

  1. i have a one year old daughter, i'm 18, i'm smart, in honors programs, and the last person anyone would have thought to get pregnant. but, now i'm happier than i've ever been and i'm so blessed to have such a beautiful girl in my life.

maybe they're just trying to finally be happy, like i am.

    :)

  2. They get the idea once the baby comes out, unless they trust people who say it's hard enough and don't take the chance.

  3. yes.. not all of us are drugged up s***s who sleep around. Some of us work hard in school and have normal hobbies. We get a bad reputation by those people who ask those kind of questions.

  4. I understand.

    I'm 14.

    I am a boy.

    I am g*y.

    I don't have to worry.

    I'm not getting anyone pregnant.

    No ones getting me pregnant.

    I'm not having s*x.

    My friends aren't having...

    that much s*x.

And if they do, it's totally protected.

  5. No, they don't.  Fortunately, most of the ones on here are just liars who think it's cool or cute to be a teen parent.  To them, a baby is nothing more than a cute accessory to dress up in little outfits and tote around the mall.  They don't have a clue how big of a responsibility it is, or that babies only stay little for a very short time.  Let's just hope that they do nothing more than make up silly stories on YA, and that they keep their legs closed.

  6. Don't worry, you, like many people, have completely lost your faith in humanity from Yahoo Answers. XP

You have to remember that these pregnant teenagers are only a small percentage of female adolescents, and they are not ALL as someone put it "drugged up s***s" or something to that degree. Well at least not Canadian teenagers, I don't know about the Americans. >.>

Also, I believe many of these people asking simply want attention and do it by making things up or exaggerating.

  7. Well im 14

And I totally understand and I just wanna say ta teens in the 21st century thinks s*x is everything and they dont think wat will happen wen they get preggo and all. But I am very concerned because this is a fault of the parents as well cause u may notice tat teens who do not get love frm the family turns up getting preggo. And I think esp the mom should teach her gal wen they get periods tat they should not have a sexual relationship cause a mom and her child is the most closest in the world and then they have to be very closely bonded to not to get in trouble.

Cause now some teens are also making s*x tapes of themselves and the whole world is just looking. And i totally hate this.

  8. I first had s*x when I was 16. I am now married to that man and we have a beautiful daughter. I think the best rule of thumb to ANYONE considering s*x (not just teenagers) is to talk to the other person about what you would do if you did get pregnant. I never stressed about my period or maybe being pregnant because I knew that if it did happen I had the support of the father...

As for your actual question.... I don't think anybody really understands how hard it can be to have a baby... I know I didn't

I'm now 24 by the way so not a teen parent

  9. I think, just like most things in life.  It is something you have to go through in order to understand it completely.   have young cousins that i worry are going to get pregnant just because they aren't protecting themselves.  I make sure and tell them every gory detail about when my child has the stomach flu or had an allergic reaction, I let them know how it is, I tell them when they're wearing something cute, you better hope you never have kids or you can kiss that body good bye ;) I try to scare them but I'm not sure it's working, their mom won't let them get on birth control either which is STUPID.  But no matter what any of us say, teens today are going to do this stuff, i think more parents should keep an eye on their kids and maybe that would help!!

  10. well im 14 an i used to help my ex boyfriend babysit his uncles friends kids..

there were 3 of them.. ages 2, 5 and 7.

    ohmygod.

i actaully started crying one time becuase i was SO frustrated with all of them.

and we only took care of them for 4 hours at the most.

i dont want children. ever. lmfao

i could never ever ever ever do that full time - even with him helping me! i couldnt even imagine what it would be like having to do it by myself.

but i dont plan to have s*x until im actually inlove. but even if i found real love tomorrow i wouldnt have s*x until i was ATLEAST 16. and of course condoms would be used and im already on bc.

i dont want one of those demons lmfao

  11. I don't get it either... I think many teens fall prey to the romantic notion of having a baby.  They don't think it through, and end up in the middle of a crisis.  They seem to think that having s*x and getting pregnant is a way to prove they're grown up, but not thinking about the fact that they'll have to grow up once the baby is born.

I remember being desperate to belong, and to be loved... But I never went so far as to have a baby until I was already married.

  12. because they are selfish and irresponsible. most often they actually want to be pregnant. something went wrong somewhere. it should be illegal.
