I see pros wear headbands and wristbands all the time, but they cost about $10, so I would think they serve some purpose. Anyone want to lament upon that?

  1. headbands help alot, so sweat doesnt get in your eyes, and the wristbands i love beoucse my palms get really sweaty when i play for some reason lol so it fixes that

  2. Actually, the wristbands don't just let me wipe my face - they keep the sweat from my arms off my raquet hand.  Have you ever had a slippery racquet come flying out of your hand?  Yikes!

Go to Wal-Mart - they're 2.50.  If you can't afford that, cut the top off of tube socks.  Works just fine.  :)

  3. Absolutely.  Headbands prevent sweat to run down your face which can get in your eyes and bother you.  In some cases, they also help those who have long hair from getting hair in their eyes and obstructing their view.

Wristbands also help with sweat, because even with a headband, you're still going to get sweat in your face, so you can use a wristband to wipe it off and keep it off your eyes.

  4. The headband keeps sweat out of your eyes, and the wristbands give you something to wipe your face with.

  5. the head bands keep hair and sweat out of your eyes and wristbands are used to wipe sweat off of you on your face. plus they look cool.
