  2. Sponsers pay for it. Could you really see the top players paying ?! That would be scandalous for em :P haha Imagine Roger i`ll just charge that bill to my credit card, send the room service up!!! lol

  3. yes, unless they have sponsors that pay for all of it.

  4. Tennis pros are self-employed and MUST have those tax deductions (ALL their expenses) or their tax bills would be horrendous. They pay their coaches, airfare, hotels, etc. and deduct all that from their earnings, which may include the cash they get paid from sponsors.

    There's a nice sidebar story in this month's  edition of Tennis magazine (with Gimmelstob contributing) that talks about tennis pro's finances.

  6. I love tennis and go to tournaments all the time--and YES you have to pay for it--even if you have a sponsor--sponsors only pay for clothes, bags, racquet's, etc.
