Most Obama supporters are focused on their own ideas of what change is to be because specific actions haven't been delineated by their charismatic candidate.  They choose to overlook the facts in a long history of the same old - same old.  If "change doesn't come from Washington but to Washington"(Obama's own words), then look at the ticket and you show me the new outsider change agents.
