they have been doing fine without him. He adds great depth to their starting line up but I don't think the Brewers need him to win games.

  1. Considering the fact that the Brewers cant play small ball and only rely on the Homerun to win games. And that Ryan Braun is the leader in HR for them I think that they really do need him. As a matter of fact, Ryan is almost a necessity to the team. If they did not have other guys who can hit Homers then Ryan would be the key to the Brewers' success.

  2. what the brewers need to do is trade a few minors and boggs, then trade byrd and/or cruz for pitchers

  3. Braun is not a hitter they would want be without. I understand what you mean, but once the playoffs roll around any bat that can help a team is a big confidence booster.

  4. yes, he definitely help, and the teams they have been playing have been really bad.

  5. Who needs an all-star to help win??Just cut him!!

  6. Well they havn't been facing much of a challenge...

If they were playing the cubs and Cardinals they we whooped if they didn't have him. (whooped even worse by Cubs)

  7. Ryan Braun  can produce some runs but players have different attitudes. Prince Fielder and Braun can get the brewers between 1-3 runs per game depending on Who there playing or What there attitude is.

  8. They wouldn't be as good as they are. He is the key to their team and line-up.

  9. they are doing the right thing with resting him but even Yost said that if this was a playoff game, he would be in. There is not point in rushing him. Let him rest and be ready when he is really needed.

But yea, Kapler has been awesome backing up Brauny. At least the brews know they have a back up that can help huge offensively. And the brews has been pretty good thus far. But he is still needed.

  10. Are you serious with this post?? Braun is the franchise!! Sure he can't field at all but he is one of the brightest hitters in the game.  The Brewers have had a easy schedule lately so they can easily get by without their major pieces but only for a short term basis.  Over a course of a season though, not having your stars on your team will take a toll slowly but surely.  I heard the same c**p when Soriano was out with the CUbs this year.  Sure Soriano is fundamentally a jack... alot but he is still a key part of their top of the order lineup.

  11. Yes they do.  They've been winning these past few days but have a look at who they're playing.  They're in San Diego right now...the worst team in the NL west and they just swept the Nats...one of the worst teams in the NL east.
