  1. No more than any other nationality, including Spaniards.

  2. sometimes depends   what  areas   you go  to  , places  like   benidorm   and the touristy places you   do get the   the  drunkeness, thats  what they  go  for  well some of them  anyway  , but on  the  whole  its more  socially  acceptable  to  be  seen drinking in the  middle of  the day   ,its a way of  life for many

  3. Yes, but not much more than other tourists. Definitely more so than people who live here (of any nationality).

As a translator in Barcelona, I've recently done a document for the local government that was a letter to businesses in the major tourist areas specifically mentioning the problem of English tourists who are following the football teams and asking the businesses to please not sell individual bottles/cans of alcohol to tourists after the legal cut off time (11pm) and to please post a sign (in Catalan, English and Urdu) reminding people that it's illegal to drink in the street.

To any potential tourists: please stop trashing our city, people have to live with the aftermath of your party.

  4. Not the ones who live here, mostly the tourists. Most Brits who live here that I know came here for a better life and to escape that kind of thing.

  5. I think this only really stems from football season where other nationalities are also to blame.  The few Brits that do let the side down, make a bad name for all the rest of us that just enjoy a good holiday.  We recently stayed in and around Barcelona for 7 weeks and witnessed nothing at all of any consequence.
