  1. There's ALWAYS a chance.

I'm not saying they are going to do it, but think about this:

-In 2005, the Indians made up a double digit deficit in the division to almost overtake the White Sox.

-Fausto Carmona recently came back from injury.

-Cliff Lee is a shoo-in for the Cy Young.

-The young pitching with Laffey and Sowers can only get better.

-Victor Martinez and Travis Hafner are going to come off the DL soon (I hope). Maybe something will jolt Pronk back into his .305/32/110 days.

-The White Sox, Twins, and Tigers aren't that good.

The fact is, without injuries things could have been different. We'll never know.

  2. nope, they dont because they loose game after game

    their last in their division

  3. No and they know they don't...Thats why they traded CC Sabathia and Casey Blake.

  4. No

  5. No this year is lost, but they have hope for next year, because of all the young talent they have.

Expect some moves before the deadline-theyre selling

  6. lots of injurys and the fact that they have to get past the Sox and the Twins, and even the tigers in the central.  trading sabathia and blake was a sign that they have given up hope for the year.  I dont think they had expectations to make the playoffs coming into the year, because if they were trying to make them, they would have fired eric wedge by now for doing a really crappy job.

  7. uhh...no

  8. ha! ha!!! they have as much a chance as i do!! of becoming president of united states!! not!!! they suck and are biggest underacheives ever!! them and seattle along with tigers suck!

  9. yes, they have two chances--slim and none.

  10. Not this year, they have to many teams ahead of them in their division. And to do it without CC, Blake, Martinez and Haffner and a legitimate closer is unlikely.

  11. Not this year.  That was pretty much solidified when they dropped 10 in a row before the All Star break.

  12. Nope - too many injuries

  13. they're 14 games back, they don't stand a chance in h**l
