  1. i'm chinese-korean? hahaha.

but in my opinion, i believe they may welcome the chinese more. korea's relationship with japan is still rather strained. there has been problems between china and korea, but they aren't that serious.

furthermore, the chinese and koreans still have one common enemy-the japanese. i have korean friends who are of my generation but can't put aisde their hatred of the japanese. both my maternal(chinese) and paternal(korean) grandparents tell me not to mention anything japanese-related in front of them.

but it's really objective too, depending on the character of the individual.

  2. none of them

  3. socially, i would say Japanese because of the better familiarity with language and culture (comes from the influence when Japan overtook Korea some time back in history). this proves to be so in terms of music, movies, dramas, fashion, etc etc. but with the whole argument as to who's land Dokdo is, its kinda hard to say...

  4. Probably neither with the history going on between them right now.

Japan with the dokdo issue and china claiming korea stole their idea only to feel stupid when they have nothing to back it up with when we disprove their logics.

Its a tough call right now. But I think they will accept chinese abit more, not sure.

  5. I would say definitely Japanese.

Japanese people pump more money into Korea's economy and don't come here for factory jobs or to marry hapless Korean farmers.

Japanese people are also very clean and polite.

  6. both are welcome

rule of thumb: who brings more money comes first

  7. I would say Chinese because Japan and Korea have been long rivals for ages.... supposidly there is going to be a war between them for this Island called Dokdo, Japan claims its theres but according to World Maps it always belonged to korea. but yea lol they hate japanese.

  8. Koreans welcome both, but some Koreans are still anti-Japanese with the sovereignty issues of Dokdo/Takeshima and past historical events. Their diplomatic relationships is very unstable, however, Korea and China's diplomatic relationship is very healthy.

Therefore, Korea would welcome the Chinese more.
