  1. If they play like they did during OT last game h**l yea!

  2. Yes, I sure do! Especially if they play with the heart and ferocity that they showed on Monday in the next 2 games.

    Let's go PENS!!!!

  3. what are you talking about

    PENGUINS RULE

    they are the best team

They are playing tonight in Mellon Arena and theyre going to kick A$$

    Series will  be tied tonight

YOu can count on it 3-3

  4. Of course. Just because no one that has been shut out the first two games of the final has ever won it doesn't mean they won't be the first.

    GO PENS!!!!!!!!!

Buffalo Boy - Did you graduate ftrom kindergarten?

  5. NOPE.......................................

  6. The always have a chance it is just very slim. The wings are very used to the playoffs and have older players while the Penguins have some older players but most are young. I think this one really is going to go to the most confident and expierenced team

  7. If you ask the jeaolus Flyers fans, Penguins got this far just by luck. Let them believe what they want to believe, and let them watch Pittsburgh sports teams lift the championship cups while Philadelphia teams play golf with the Tigger :):):)

  8. IF Detroit has been better this series (and I believe they have), it's been close, with only a marginal edge going to Det. They've outshot us by a ton, but we're always outshot. Woo. Detroit won more faceoffs! Pens were the worst in the league on faceoffs.

"The Pens got all the lucky bounces!!1!1"  Nice try. How many loose pucks bounced off Pens sticks in the first two games?

And, my favorite "The refs are biased, Bettman loves Crosby, and its all rigged!!"

Detroit may have outplayed us MARGINALLY most of the series, but the reality is this: This series could VERY easily be 3 games to 2 back the other way, with the Pens having a chance to close it out tonight. The Pens could have, and should have, won game four, but Fleury's only REAL mistake all finals came when he left in that short-side goal. Watch tonight, then decide. But, you'll have a few days to form an opinion...Game seven isn't until Saturday.

  9. yes!

    go pens!

  10. of course they do.

But, I don't think they would deserve it as much as Detroit. I watched the games (though not a real fan of either team) and Detroit is just that much better!

yeah..I know..thumbs down from penguins fans, but that's the way I see it.

anyhow..yes they have a chance, they are in the stanley cup finals :)

  11. The funny thing is that goal with seconds left was a fluke.  Detroit clearly outplayed the pens they simply got lucky.  It happens in all sports.  Detroit will more than likely take it home tonight.  And all the pens fans that say otherwise are simply bias.  Do they really BELIEVE that the pens will win in Detroit or do the HOPE they can.  Lets get real it's not going to happen.

  12. Yes they do

  13. of course they do. you have to believe

  14. They will.

  15. Of course. I still like Detroit's odds, but the Pens have played tight, Fleury has been awesome, and they have a home game tonight that could tie the whole thing up. The only people on here bashing the Pens are homers that obviously have not been paying much attention to what the Pens have accomplished. They just beat us in our home arena in a game we should have had. That would not be possible if they were not good. Anything could happen.

    Go Wings!

  16. duh... lol

  17. The are down 3-2.  They have a chance until the final whistle, as we saw in game 5.

  18. It ain't over till it's over.  I like to think it will be over tonight.

  19. I think after that nail-biting performance Monday...the Penguins have show they CERTAINLY still have a chance!

I don't really feel that Detroit is "so much better" as said above....if they were it wouldn't have taken them 58 shots to get only 3 in...where as the Pens got 4 with 32 shots.

Lets face it, we're down to the TWO best teams...they both "deserve" to be there....and after having to go into TRIPLE overtime AT HOME in Detroit after them having a 3-1 series lead???? I think the Pens have shown that if nothing else, they are NOT gonna make it easy for Detroit!

In fact, I think w/the Pens showing such a fighting spirit...THEY should reign supreme!!

    LETS GO PENS!

    LETS GO PENS!

    LETS GO PENS!

Just a side note---I always have to wonder why it is the Pittsburgh is always looked at as the "low man" underdog team, yet they hold and/or broke just as many records, take part in just as many playoff/big games and their merchandise is one the THEEE Top sellers! I love being a Pittsburgher!

  20. The Igloo will be the loudest it's been in 30 years tonight.  GO PENS!!!

  21. YA BUT I HOPE THE WINGS WIN MAN BECAUSE I RECENTLY STARTED LIKING HOCKEY FROM THE SUMMER AND NOW I WANT THEM TO WIN SINCE I UNDERSTAND HOCKEY NOW. WINGS ARE GONNA BRING A GREAT COMEBACK TONIGHT.

  22. yea....they've won....the last few games....they can win this one

  23. Being a Pens Fan, of course i think they still have a chance of winning the Stanley cup they just have to be really physical and stop making stupid turnovers. I mean, Detroit is a perfect team: they`re really physical and they hardly make any turnovers or mistakes and they take every chance they can to shot on goal. If Fleury can still be awesome tonight like he was last game and ever since he`s been back, of course the pens have a chance of winning the cup, but... Malkin really has to step it up!!!!

  24. Yup!!!  Wings haven't won 4 yet so there is a chance...if the Pens want it bad enough...they'll take it...but they have to want it.

  25. They will win the cup and every loser on here that says they arent going to can go kill themselves.

  26. Can elephants fly?

  27. no

  28. See Andrew V's answer and multiply by 2. He is the voice of reason on this Q

  29. Absolutely! Remember that if they win tonight, they send it to a game 7 and anything can happen in a game 7. The Penguins still have a 17-1 record at home and Fleury is playing like the prospect many always thought he was. If Fleury keeps playing the way he does and the Penguins start playing better on the powerplay then Detroit should be worried. The Penguins are in a hole, but they are such a talented team that they should never be counted out.

  30. They're still in it arent they? I'm a Redwing fan, but the Pens have an AWESOME goalie in Fleury.

As a Redwing fan I hope they dont win, but if they do win...then I will give them their due.

  31. No, I heard they were going to forfeit tonight b/c they came to the realization that they stink!  Seriously, where do people come up with these questions.......
