Do the Swans have a good recruiting agent - or is Paul Roos a very good coach?

I pinched the contents from Robert Walls column but ;

Craig Bolton battled at Btrisbane & is now a star at the Swans; Darren Jolly battled in & out of the team at Melbourne & is now a good No. 1 ruckman at Swans; Ted Richards could hardly get a game at Essendon but now is a regular at the Swans & is playing well; Matty Mattner went from the Crows to the Swans & is starring; Henry Playfair went from Geelong to Swans & at his second game with the club last weekend kicked 3 goals, made three goal assists & had nine marks.

I tend to put most of the credit down to Roos. The players like him - & that is a huge part of being a successful coach.

I'ld love to say it's Roos cos I enjoyed him as a player and now coach but I do believe it has to be a team staffing achievement wen recruitment's adjust AND succeed in their new team...

they have done a great job picking yp players, and i think Roos is a great coach

i dont really like the swans coach but i like some of their players.

I think it is mainly due to Paul Roos.

I think that it could be a bit of both. Roos has got enough coaching experience now but hasn't been there long enough to have tired ideas. And the recruiting people probably are brilliant - I don't think that they are ever given enough credit for recognising and nurturing talent!

Roo's is a very good coach, no doubt.

They seem to pick blokes who just need that little bit of whatever it is, he seem to know what  the 'whatever it is' is.

They are going along just quietly at present, doing what they have to, I'd rank em about 5th at present, they sneak up on you this mob.
