  7. Nope.  Pretty much every country is different.

  8. No.  Some countries use currencies whose exchange rate is linked (or "pegged") to the US dollar, but most countries in Central America have their own unique currencies not otherwise linked to the US dollar.

  9. First off, Central America IS PART of Latin America so there is no need to mention both, since one is a culturlal region and ther other is geographic region.

    The only countries in Central America that use the U.S. Dollar is Panama and EL Salvador (which has left their people in miserable poverty); the other countries have their own currencies.

    In South America the only country to use the U.S. Dollar is Ecuador, the other countries have their own form of currency.
