  1. I hope not.

  2. This is a SCAM. The below links confirm various email scams hitting the internet, including the famous Yahoo/MSN lottery scams and how to report them - (with links to your own country) :

Unscrupulous thieves have sent you this email and they are trying to part you from your hard earned cash. They will often ask you to call a premium rate number and keep you holding on whilst you rack up a huge phone bill. They are then paid a large proportion of this phone bill. They may ask you to divulge personal information about yourself or ask for your bank or credit card details. Do not divulge any such information under any circumstances. It is surprising how many innocent victims have been duped by these types of emails. Please remember the thieves who send them are very clever and extremely convincing. I suggest you delete the email and send it into cyberspace, hopefully along with the thieving scumbags who send them.

  3. I hope never! Stay in your own country. This one is in a recession. Won't recover until all you illegals working and not paying your social security and payroll taxes to fund the war, LEAVE THIS COUNTRY!!!!!!

  4. Yes it is real, but like ZCT said, it depends on the country and is usually used for countries with a small percentage of immigrants in the US. It is not a simple thing and the winners have to meet very strict requirements (do they have family in the US that can help them, will they be an asset to the economy or a burden, etc.)

  5. Shouldn't this be posted under "Immigration"?

  6. There is a diversity lottery for green cards, but it is operated by the government and only applies to smaller countries that have less than a certain number of immigrants from there each year.

But it is a very specific government process, and not something you can just 'win' out of the blue.
