Do the USPS still process packages on saturday?

i have a packaged that just came into my city (chicago) and it has one more stop to the local usps processesing center to be delivered to my house. and its a saturday, i know i wont be able to recieve it today, but my question is if they would still send my package to the local station on saturday, and will i be able to pick it up my self today before the station closes.

  1. Mail moves, but offices are closed to the general public.

    EXCEPTION: Express mail. You won't be able to get it at the office, but a carrier will attempt delivery if they paid for weekend delivery..
